Candace A. Phillips

Candace Phillips is an associate attorney at Kim Vaughan Lerner LLP. Candace focuses her practice on commercial litigation, insurance coverage matters, and employment law. She has litigated a wide variety of matters and represented businesses at all stages of litigation.  


Candace graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law where she was a fellow and an intern for the Children and Youth Law Clinic, earning the Markus Award for her outstanding work. Candace has worked with the American Civil Liberties Union and If/When/How to create content to educate youth about their legal rights under Florida law and to increase awareness and advocacy for Florida’s youth amongst attorneys across the state.

 

Candace also served as a Judicial Intern for Chief Judge Richard Suarez at the Third District Court of Appeal.
